Zeev Farbman is an Israeli entrepreneur and the CEO and Co-Founder of Lightricks, a mobile software company that develops creative photo and video editing tools. Born in Ukraine in 1979, Farbman grew up in Russia and immigrated to Israel with his family at age 13. He received his PhD in Computer Science from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem in 2013, where he worked on computational photography and published his research at ACM Transactions on Graphics at SIGGRAPH conference.

 In 2013, Farbman co-founded Lightricks with four other former students from the Hebrew University. The company’s first app, Facetune was released in 2013 and quickly became a success. Lightricks has since released a number of other popular apps, including Photoleap, and Videoleap, and last year acquired the digital marketing platform – Popular Pays. Under Farbman’s leadership, Lightricks has grown into one of the most successful mobile software companies in the world, with over half a billion downloads.
